The most recent version I have is from CM Synth Special from late 2007.

I don't really read the mags often so I don't buy every month.

I may buy it if the CM synths get updated.

I'd love to do an update, but it doesn't really make sense until after Zebra 2.5 is released and maybe a couple of features can be adopted (i.e. Midi Program Changes, GUI Resize, maybe even "Eleven").

You'll know when it happens 8)

Zebra 2.5 ... any info on what that entails? Okay, I'm lazy to look through the posts from the past few months that I have not been on kvr :-)

Post

Z2.5 = final version of current beta plus an additional plugin called "Zebrify" - nothing fancy though... :hihi:

Post

cool... the latest beta has some fine additions... so what is Zebrify?

Also, I was using the delay effect in Zebra last night and I could not hear any difference when using the drive parameter. It aint working methinks...

Zebrify is the long rumoured fx-version of Zebra (audio in, all modules in a single Grid)

Yeah - something I should indeed look into

just audio in? or would you be able to load a sample?

If I may ask for a request in case ZebraCM gets updated. The mod depth on oscillators' waveforms only goes to +2, is it possible to make it go to all the way to 16? Even better if the addition is done modulo 16.

Well, the restriction to +/-2 was intentional to keep the range within reasonable boundaries. ZebraCM uses the 16 slots slightly different from what one would do in Zebra... in Zebra you'd use the slots to add detail to transitions, while in ZCM you have 15 "plain" transitions. Honestly, I've tried the full range in ZCM and it sounds disappointing... it's certainly better like it is...

No problem Urs, it's an awesome softie as it is. Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by "plain" transitions? Does this mean the transition is not smooth?

Oh, it's smooth - but it's the "direct" way. in Z2 you can build various intermediates...

oops posted by mistake.

Just a little Question from me:

When I select a Modulation Source for Pan or Volume in the VCA panel, the source name is not shown below the knob. Is there anything I can do to fix this (editing ZebraCM.txt) or is it a code change?
