I just wanted ya'll to know that non-weirdos I've played A La Kart for pretty much all like it (wtf? perhaps the world of people with TVs and radios is glitchier than last time I looked) - - but all of them thing justin's are "eerie" or "scary" lmao!

Justin the Audio Menace. His tracks are amazing and the production quality is frightening. But, yes, they can give some intense imagery. It's a win/win.

A bump and a review as I finally got a chance to listen to the album in 1 go today - as Justin intended rather than using the shuffle setting om my ipod. I didn't realise it was like a proper mix before today 
I've only actually heard blortblort and Justin's tracks before buying this so there were some pleasant surprises.
To review the album in one go I'd say its like the best film soundtrack you've never heard before. Kind of like an updated blaxploitation, Bruce Lee or Dirty Harry flick. Slightly retro but modern at the same time
Madder than you - Bose-Einstein Condensate
Nice first track, almost hate to say it but sounds typically blortblortish - which is a very good thing. I like the way the lead is set so low against the drums you almost have to strain to hear it and the slight (to my anyway) asian influence.
3am - Deft Avoidance
I'll admit to almost skipping this track after a minute or so as although I can appreciate the start it goes on a bit. Get to the 2 minute 30 mark though and it starts to rock. For some strange reason I picked up a 60's influence on this one
zoozither - Tokyo Bullet Train
1 word review - funky! A new name to me music wise but one worth checking out in the future. An almost timeless track dressed with modern trimmings.

A nice slice of distorted melancholy, wait a minute where's the drums!
Jazzyspoon - Recherche
Another new name to me music wise and another one to check out later. Jazzyspoon's tracks really stand out on here because of the use of singing
I particularly like the density later in the track.
22tape - So Cool
And so the last new name and person for me to check out later
The flipside to The Orb's Fluffly Little Clouds? Could be, nice and slow and downbeat. I like the way the track lulls you into thinking there's not going to be any drums for the first minute and a half.
zoozither - Razorpainter
If this was a film this would be the seduction scene, maybe a bit twisted and kinky tho
I like this one for the way the track's feel constantly changes.
3am - Peligro de Amor
Nice nagging electronica - kinda John Carpenterish
Jazzyspoon - Eden
My favourite track on the album (and I'm not just saying that cuz you were nice to me in the Music Cafe) Again another timeless track. Funky or Jazzy? Both? Really like the percussion on this one.
zoozither - Outspace
Strangely this sounds more oriental than Tokyo Bullet Train does

Glitchy + scratchy = cool! Almost like a tense ambient track, if thats not an oxymoron
3am - Back-lit Moment
Hip Hop in feel if not in sound - a head nodder. Sorry the rest of you guys/girls/whatever, Justin's got the best bass.
Jazzyspoon - 2morrow
Nicely downbeat - Oh God I'm going to start repeating myself. Kind of a dark song for something called 2morrow. Again the vocals set this apart.

A strange one. Starts off like an Aphex Twin then morphs into something for ballroom dancing to before getting edgy towards the end
zoozither - Unstuck in Time
A nice track to close the album with the piano opening and closing the track almost like a metaphor for the album itself. Deep or what? See I can write sentences without using the words nice, downbeat, slow, edgy or dark. Doh! Did it again!
