Thanks for the reply. Not sure right now when I downloaded, but that's okay. I may do it again or wait for less buggy version. You are busy with all the interest, etc.otristan wrote:When did you download your version ?CloudNine wrote:I installed but it crashed FLStudio I guess because I denied access to internet for ilok. I already have Pace from something else. It was a hassle so I uninstalled everything. Is this worth reinstalling? I still have the old UVI Player.
We have fix the VST PC launching yesterday night (GMT+1)
Regarding difference with UVI Player, there is as many as difference as there was between PlugsoundPro and the UVI Player and much more.
Take a look at http://www.uvisoundsource.com/ (right panel)
to see the features.
Moreover You get all of those for free.
Give it a try. Just remember it's still a beta, but we will still fix every issues you will encounter.
Thanks,
I'm a little confused.JavaJ wrote:I think you have a bug in how you implemented the Octave feature. If I create a split- with a bass going up to C2 and piano from c#2 and above- if I want to transpose the bass part so it plays in a better range- it transposes the lowkey-hikey rang (thus, if I drop the bass an octave- I have an octave of no sound). I think you need to have the keyrange fixed and let transpose shift octaves/keys. This way I can make a split and have each part in the proper octave on my keyboard.
Very silly way of doing it in my opinion.
Yes.CloudNine wrote: May I use this free thing and sounds on commercial stuff?
I don't sell my music now, but maybe someday.
Thanks.
What do you mean by copying a track ?shogger wrote:Oh no,
your internal beta test seems to have been very sparse. Good beta testers would have told you that copying a track doesn't copy any uvi ws settings.
And they would have tried to save and reload a song to find out that the formerly saved multi programs aren't loaded when loading the song.![]()

P.S. There might be a trick but your browser doesn't seem to sort the content of the HD partitions in any way. Simply unusable.
Yeah we made the first one in the hurry because of the VST immediate crash.shogger wrote:It is a good idea to name new versions as being new versions.otristan wrote:Regarding the crash, are you using a recent downloaded version ?
We have an issue on VST PC version which leaded to automatic crash.
Please try downloading the latest version.![]()

P.S. works here now and I just had a crash switching sample rate in Reaper.
What kind of issues are you encountering ?b-real wrote:Looks nice but works like crap
Of course not.JavaJ wrote:so do we have to constantly go to the website and check for updates? Couldn't you put a check for updates button on the interface that makes way more sense.

I downloaded the UVI Workstation beta the day before yesterday. Has it been updated since?

Gothboy wrote:
Regarding the crash, are you using a recent downloaded version?
Sorry, that should have been: duplicated. I duplicated a track with a UVIWorkstation on it.otristan wrote:What do you mean by copying a track ?shogger wrote:Oh no,

This is in Reaper.otristan wrote:Your host do not recall your song properly with UVIWorkstation ?
Which host are you using ?
Try this: Surely you've got a folder on your hard disk where you've got tons of samples in it, right? Now use your browser to go to e.g. partition E:\ on your hard drive and choose that folder and then FIND a specific sample.otristan wrote:Regarding the content of your HD, you have three subtree in the browser on the left, the first one contains all your HD, the second one is some quick access favorites, and the third one is the UVISoundbanks folder.
The first two are not open by default, that may explain why you didn't see those at first look.
Moreover, you can Drag n Drop from the Windows explorer audio file to any UVIWorkstation part.

Ok will check this one.shogger wrote: This is in Reaper.
Ok maybe we will order with dir first then file in alphabetical order in the internal browser.shogger wrote: Try this: Surely you've got a folder on your hard disk where you've got tons of samples in it, right? As I didn't find out how to let your browser sort anything alphabetically I didn't even find my folder on the hard drive.![]()
See my prob? I didn't find how to do it in the sparse user guide, so ...![]()
