Hello:
This is my first post on this form. I have been a Zebra user for a long time and have just recently installed it (without much problems.....thanks to the FAQ on this very forum) on a new Receptor. I would very much like to install the extra soundsets (I have 3....Science, OldSkool and Transmission) in .fxp and .fxb format so that I can browse the sounds directly from the Receptor, without changing sounds on the Zebra GUI itself. I have downloaded the .fxp files that Urs kindly created for the factory sounds and it works great. Is there something similar I can do for the extra soundsets? Any chance of getting those files in .fxp/.fxb format, as in the factory sounds? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you much.

Yes. Im supposing your on Windows with the vst
You first create a new empty named folder for them along with your other presets. Open Zebra click on Presets(top left next to save) choose the preset you want to change to fxp format. In the middle of Presets page it says Patch Format. Click on: H2P and choose: native. Save only active modules: Off is default, so leave it. Now press save at the top left and save to your new preset folder. Repeat for the other patches. They will now all be in fxp format.

There's also a trick with modifier keys... unfortunately the modifiers are swapped between Win and Mac... so...
Mac version:
- command-click on save: Save/Overwrite without file dialog
- command-shift-click on save: Save without dialog and load next preset
- command-option-click on save: Save without dialog and load previous preset
The Win version I think replaces command with alt and option with control. Or vice versa.
Now, if you have .h2p and want .fxp, then you do as stated and select "native" as your default preset format. Then you try selecting the first preset and "Save without dialog and load next preset". If the preset stays the same, you select the very last preset in the last preset folder and "Save without dialog and load previous preset"
What should happen is, with each click you create a clone of the current patch and load the next patch. This way you can "click your way through" a patch bank and convert them without too much hassle. Afterwards you still have to separate the .fxp from the .h2p, but that's just a simple action (i.e. set Explorer/Finder to "sort by date" and you have them lined up nicely)
Try it!

Is it possible to then combine fxp's into one fxb?
