EDIT:
Thanks, now it worked here as well!

Post

I can't get it to work in stand alone mode with my EMU X-board USB controller although it works with another keyboard plugged into the computer's midi socket, no problems when loaded as a Vsti in cubase.

I don't sell my music now, but maybe someday.
Thanks.
Yes.
What is date of latest beta?

When do you expect next beta version release?

Post

I reinstalled the beta of 6/18/08, 6:42 pm.

It won't open in FLStudio. FL closes when it tried to load the vst.

Is there a later version to try?

When you select an EQ preset, a FLAT EQ needs to be one of the options. The current eq presets (the same ones in Plugsound Pro) are over the top and distort something silly. Fix that and I'm a paid customer.....well fix some of the other issues too and I'm a paid customer....

What do you mean by a flat EQ ?
There is an 8 band EQ

Or are you talking about linear phase EQ ?

Thanks,
What I'm mean is that if I wanted to put an EQ as an insert effect for a sound, I only have the option of choosing a predefined preset already "hardwired" into the plugin. Usually these presets are so extreme that they instantly distort the sound, and you have to crank them back. Some of them have boost levels of 10db and that's just too much. So if you could just make a preset eq that was flat, and let the customer choose what's appropriate, that would be grand.

Seems to crash FL8 here for me, with a JUCE Window error.

I don't get any kind of error in FL 8. It just shuts down the program.

I reinstalled the beta of 6/18/08, 5:07 pm.

It won't open in FLStudio. FL closes when it tried to load the vst.

Is there a later version to try?

Oliver- regarding my transpose issue.
I want to be able to create a split - say at C2 with a bass on bottom, piano on top. If the bass is not in the proper octave- I want to transpose it up or down an octave. But in doing this- the octave setting physcially changes the bass keyrange to either C1 or C3 (although you don't see this on the display). If it changes it to C1- I get an octave from C1 to C2 where no sound plays. We should be able to maintain the split point and be able to freely transpose either tone wihtout having to mess with the keyrange again.
Does this make sense?

Secondly, you shouldn't be able to make the lowkey value higher than the hikey value- or vice-versa- make the hikey value lower than the lowkey value. It should stop at either value
