well if anybody else wanted to do it, they're welcome to and i can provide all the code and instructions required for you to get the job done.
if you'd be willing to pay me at about 20/h for two weeks i'm sure i can get the whole thing done as well. that'd be about $1600.
here is another good way to put it for anybody who still doesn't understand: sit down on a chair, any chair, and twiddle (rotate around each other) your thumbs for eight hours a day, five days a week for two weeks non-stop.
seems easy enough doesn't it? well get to it.
maybe you've got a clue now what's involved. now try to imagine actually designing code and implementing it rather than doing something any retard could do (twiddling) and you'll see why i haven't gotten around to this in my free time yet. i have other things to do, that i'd rather do.
(i'm talking about the other guis, and mostly referring to the time it'd take me to figure out all the offsets and colors without the tables from gsoto available to me. the other business of the modularization, the dynamic flag enumeration and event routing is much, much more easy and i'm working on that now.)

would be great if you guys could run over this and check to see if it's "recommended release" ready. i think it is, and it seems from what i can tell that i've got everything on the gui working correctly (ah, apart from the 'load class' bit, but ignore that for now since it is a test feature anyway.)
i'll either remove the button or just leave it there doing nothing until i can get all that stuff implemented correctly. it'll have to wait until i implement the event routing which is next on the list if nothing else gets in the way.

Aww hadn't used Xhip for a long time and decided to load an instance in Sonar just to enjoy some bass sound, and I was quickly reminded why I wasn't using it these days... the hanging note problem. It's just impossible to work with this problem. Any progress made on this ? I remember it started quite an endless discussion in the old days... It has been solved in Oatmeal though IIRC.

if it hadn't been for the nonsense that happens generally on kvr (expecting mike 'admiral quality' to show up any moment now) the answer regarding this issue would have been: we can fix it any time you have the ability to devote about a full day to running debugging tests, and you're able to chat with me and exchange dlls and logs over something like irc or msn messenger.
does the problem occur in a demo version? if so just link me to the demo and i'll give it a whirl. i'd like instructions or a midi file to perfectly recreate the issue if you're capable of providing that.
i'm nearly certain my answer the last time should have been the same and i'm curious why we never got around to working on the issue; as i said it certainly could have been due to the kvr atmosphere.

*poof!*Admiral Mike has been too busy working with his customers to get Poly-Ana working on two platforms that Mike doesn't even have access too -- meaning tests sometimes take 24 hours or more to get results back from.
This is how you support your people. And I hope to have even more people very soon, cuz most of this remote testing has been to get her working on Receptor.
Oh and then there's the 25% CPU performance increase. And the hunting down and fixing of rare stability bugs, including one that only one person in the world could produce (but it was still "my" bug! And after working with this (paying) customer for over a month, sending test after test back and forth, it's fixed.

How can you have customers if you're not even selling anything? "Your people", one might think aciddose is Moses. And I thought xhip is free and aciddose works on it in his free time even though he has better things to do. Alas, apparently he's not the messiah after all.
