afaik people are able to use the latest VST version in FL.

Remove the VST.
download the installer back.
Launch the new installer.

Should be fine then.

Let us know if this doesn't fix it for you.

On the subject of build download, it will be nice if there was indication of the build number in the name of the installer. Also, a little history of the main bug fixes on each update will help tracking what's going on.

About IRCAM, I was excited, the demo sounds really good, but at 399 you just cool me off. For solo intruments, a download per instruments could be really nice, you just buy what you need. Actually, this is what most Kontakt solo instrument soundbank developers are doing now and I think it is having a lot of success and it is cheaper for everybody.

Do you have any plan to implement some kind of fonctionnality like Stylus RMX has to add some variation on REX files? Some kind of random intelligence to add variation on loops when they are looping or just create randonly new loops out of existing files.

Guys, I hate to be a jerk, but I got the latest version running in Ableton Live for about 5 minutes before it brought the app down.

Beta software, I can handle, but did you bother to test this at all before you posted it? Deleted. Sorry, no time to baby sit your alpha version.

Salut Olivier,

You should really consider re-opening a forum, one big thread for all kind of issues/request is getting hard to follow.

I haven't seen any comment on the patch saving of instruments and FX, this is a really good point. Multi are only useful for an ensemble.

Alain, don't even bother updating MOTU instruments and just add support for their soundbank inside UVIW and make this usable. Less you have to develop faster we get to use them finally.

OK, back from a few days away: where is this at now? Working on PC's? :hyper:

There's a wrapper bug fix in FL 8++.

1 main stereo and 16 stereo auxes so you can have one aux per possible midi channel and still be able to output aux and master FX content in a separate output.

Another possible answer would be why not :)

Let me know what the MuLab guy tell you.
Hey Olivier,

I plugged the UVI Workstation in MU.LAB, and also got an immediate crash.

Researched this a bit more using the debugger and it's not because of the 34 outs. (MU.LAB is protected to that situation anyway).

I'll email you the technical details.

Hope we can sort this out soon.

Cheers,

Jo

That's the plan :)

It's just that it crashed when zeroing the 33 and 34 audio output so I suspected this.
I'll be happy to work on this issue with you.

Ahhhhhhh that explains why some of you can run it in FL and some don't.

Well guys, apply the patch :D

Care to share some details ?
PC ? Mac ?
What were you doing when it crashed ?

If you let us fix this issue, I'm sure you'll be pleased with the result.

Bonjour Monsieur,

I got several sudden crashes in Cubendo 3, Live 7 and Reaper 2.3, while I was browsing and loading my own Samples or tweaking the filter section or something like that. In Phrazor 1.02 I just could load the UVI Workstation's GUI, but I got no Sound and it did not react to my MIDI inputs.

The RSS feed does not work, because my DAW is not allowed to visit the internet... ;-)

Is there any option to play a non-sliced wave file looped without having to re-trigger it via MIDI?

In general I prefer applications and plugins that just install into a single folder and that do not spread out their necessary files over my whole hard drives. I have all my plugins on drive D, so if I have to re-install Windows, or if I want to boot from another hard drive or want to take some plugs with me on a flash drive, I can use them immediatly.

If this UVI thing will work as expected one day, it could be a killer tool to play around live with my samples in a more creative and intuive way. My girl friend likes to tweak Stylus RMX with her Behringer BCR2000 to create songs on the fly. UVI Workstation would be a good companion to that...

The new installer of the new version(to be released very soon) will gives you this kind of possibilities.
