adding master to the racks

but if anyone else has little experience like me
and finds this a problem
heres how ya do it
make new rack >> name it MASTER >> link all other racks to it

Indeed, that's the way
In MU.LAB 2.0, the very default session (when you do File -> New) will auto setup such a Master Rack

I believe it is... I guess it's so that his handle is more identical with the whole mutools operation.

Sure!
If you save a session as "New.musession" into your MU.LAB folder, that one is opened whenever you do 'New Session'
