I tried that hack just now, good idea. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a good control to map to modwheel to get the usual vibrato effect that you want 75% of the time. (And probably filter CF mod the rest of the time.) I tried mapping "Modulator B" on Osc 2 to mod wheel but the "off" position is in the center, so it's not much like a mod wheel and is only working on one of the two oscillators anyway.gsoto wrote:Doesn't MIDI learn work for that? Just guessing, I don't have a mod wheel.AdmiralQuality wrote:mod wheel
In any case, I believe many hosts would allow to map it externally, no?
How do I modulate Osc 1's pitch by the way? I wish I could detune it too, so it would beat against the high frequency LFO like I'm making Osc 2 do in my patch. (Or I wish I could more accurately tune the audio rate LFO).
Even if you could get it to work, it sure is a lot of effort compared to just about every other VA that handles modwheel automatically. Sure it's a controller. The most common one too.
