Yeah, "cogwheel knobs" or whatever they're called are pretty popular for mastering tools. I prefer those with an odd number of teeth though... they just look, uhm, more right. All analogue knobs I have (i.e. Moog, Livewire) have either 5 or 7 teeth. So I figured that really big knobs shall have 9.
