One thing that would be very good to have, and that is to be able to select multibe parts to edit them at the same time. Can be a litle tedius if one wants to edit the start attack of a stacked sound and going thru all the part to do it
Simple and repetive are my middle names

It's already done in for the Simple Reverb in v1.0.1 but it can take some time to be released depending on the tailsize.frankbou wrote:Wonderful, could it be done with any CPU hungry FX, like the regular Reverb used on most patches?
That will be really cool.
There will be more bypassable FXs in the next release.

Give it a try and uninstalls PACE driver if you're not happy about it.Dewdman42 wrote:This plugin sounds like a neat concept. Too bad it uses PACE. I will not install that shite on my computer.
Thanks,

@otristan, it's still crashing when i load it!

Fl.exe (Fl Studio 8 - Fruityloops Edition) still crashes when i load up UVI 1.0.1 as VST! I dont know what I'doing wrong. Do i have to download the soundbank again too? because of a new version of the installer?

I've been having random crashes in Cubase 4. I've been trying to track down specifically what causes the the "poof"...for those who don't know what the poof is, it's when the Cubase Program just disappears off the screen. Running leopard.

I have no idea as I don't manage to reproduce it. Are you sure there's no update of FL8 so something like that?soproductive wrote: Fl.exe (Fl Studio 8 - Fruityloops Edition) still crashes when i load up UVI 1.0.1 as VST! I dont know what I'doing wrong.
I don't understand how some of you can have it working flawlessly in FL8 while others can't even get it to start.
no, there are no reason for the soundbanks to change because of a new software version.soproductive wrote:Do i have to download the soundbank again too? because of a new version of the installer?

soproductive - turn off your FL skin, and use the regular native skin.

Yesterday I was trying to set up UVI WS for use with my BCR2000 MIDI controller.
1.) I discovered, that there are lot of parameters, that allow no MIDI assigment (for example start, stop, mute and solo buttons, part selection, Filter on/off, Filter selection etc.), which forces me to use the mouse again during live tweaking.
2.) It seems, all done MIDI assignments get lost, when you change the sample of a slot. I could reproduce this behavior.
3.) Wouldn't it be more practible, if you could also save MIDI controller assigments seperatly - like in Stylus RMX, which also allows to ignore the assignments that are stored together with a multi setup if you load the multi again (it uses then the current assigments instead).
Sorry, if my english might be incorrect, but my french isn't very much more than rudimentary, I just could use it to survive, but not to explain MIDI related topics...

In addition to that, Midi value changes in the "Edit" tab (when I use the knobs on my midi keyboard) can not be seen in the plugin. Like when I change the attack of a sound, I can hear it change, but can't see it in the plugin.
Oh by the way, my earlier reported crackle when parameter changing was not because of a bug, but CPU overload as there were other processes running in the background of windows, which I overlooked. So that's settled, no crackling!

The UVI Workstation v1.01 crashed Cubase SX3.1 while having a .wav file loaded in slot 1 and then in the "Loop" tab switching between the sample and the stretch mode, apparently too fast. The switching takes half a second or more, and when I switch back and forth too fast, the UVI workstation crashes. Also the standalone version crashed while doing that.

When I quit the standalone version while a sound is playing, there remains a loud noise, probably some rest of the sound that just played. It only disappears once I restart the software.

That one is harsh! we'll see what's happenning if we manage to reproduce it.ViktorW wrote:When I quit the standalone version while a sound is playing, there remains a loud noise, probably some rest of the sound that just played. It only disappears once I restart the software.
