Cool.
Looking at the changelog of the wrapper. Now I understand. It was a matter of blocksize.
Still we have put some anti bug in our code, so people without the fruity update won't crash either.

Quick question to the devs:

Is the new audio engine and GUI the same as in M5 2, as I still have problems with that program on a PC, especially graphics related?

Having said that, I was just asking the other day why sampler devs didn't also include a amsll footprint player, so I'm looking forward to this.

Finally, if you do go the 'save preset' route, then can you include M5 created presets (using your soundbanks) in a future version as well, as that'll be really handy.

K. Just loaded up the standalone.

First thing is that "File..." should be "Options" if you are only going to include audio/midi settings in that menu.

Second thing is that under devices, my DVD drive does not show up (was trying to load a M5 disk without having to copy the whole thing over).

[EDIT]I guess that it does not read UFS file images then??

Hi,

First of all, it's nice to see that Plugsound is back. Since I bought the Plugsound Pro I couldn't use it because of the many crashes and drop-outs in audio. And like many others I thought that the company was dead since there was no response from them a long time either on their homepage and on this forum. The last response I got was an e-mail in which me was told that they would fix some problems and release an update of Plugsound Pro in a couple of weeks. But weeks after weeks, months after months I waited but no response at all and no still no update for Plugsound Pro. :(

Surpricingly I discovered on my own that this new release was online. An personal e-mail, since I'm an registered Plugsound Pro owner, would have been a more desent way to be noticed.

So, that said, now that the company is back in business I have some small requests with their newest product:

1) I am working on a macbook and within the browser I can't use the scroll feature on my touchpad. Can that be enabled since the smaller window I scroll a lot.

2) A search function for faster search of an perticular sound.

3) An my favourite sound option to mark sounds.

4) A default location set for multi's instead of a default root folder on the Mac HD.

5) If you have an multi with a split, the split should be fixed indepandedly if you transpose/shift the parts within from the main screen. I also miss a global tranpose feature for the whole multi.

6) Octave shift from the main window can't be 'filled in' by mouse movement(up/down).

Bugfix? Multi 12-Requiem Choir gives much audio drop outs.

But overall very pleased with the new product, keep up the good work!

Yes. I even tried reinstalling to see it had any difference. Aren't these wav samples not supposed to be able to be sliced??? You say that it isn't possible but why does it work here? The map works and sounds fine.

And if it is a mistake and there is no way to be able to do this UVI, will you clarify for me that the only way to chop up samples and play them as midi is to convert to rex? I just want to know.

Also I am still getting frequent crashes when switching from slice to stretch still. I am usually hitting the notes on the keyboard with the mouse at the same time.

Do you guys not hear what I am hearing with these loops samples from uvi presets (mayhem) when you play them on the keyboard? They sound terrible.

caf file works fine except for some specific encoding.
caf file bundled with logic and Garage Band are aac encoded.
This encoding is not available freely.
Still there might a possiblity to load those on mac(using mac only API) but not on PC, so not sure if people would understand this.
alright. so caf does work but you guys imply that you can use apple loops. How can I use them? Especially if they aren't recognized at all because of aac encoding. I can certainly convert them to aiff and use them but in their standard form they don't work.

Preview doesn't seem to be working correctly in logic. Autoplay for samples does not happen

k. new multis in 1.0.2 will save and load fine but the one i made in 1.0.1 still crashes so I will trash that one. so hopefully no more crashes now. :P

As we are still on a public beta stage, we didn't want to inform all our customers because we prefere to have a very strong version before doing that. But I understand your feelings... Be sure that we are still on business ! (UVI Workstation proove it ! ;-) ). We are glad that UVI Workstation is making you happier. We also thank you for your patience and your support, and when UVISoundsource.com will be officially open we will find a way to make our existing USB customer even more happier... ;-)

It's already done in for the Simple Reverb in v1.0.1 but it can take some time to be released depending on the tailsize.

There will be more bypassable FXs in the next release.
Thanks for the improvment in 1.0.2 this makes a really big difference, however looking at it I notice two things:

1- CPU FX drop out only happens about 8 sec after I stop monitoring any audio activity in Cubase mixer, isn't it a bit long? I though these things happened in milli second at the audio engine level.

2- Auxiliary default or close value isn't totally off or bypass, but set at -400db which cause Auxiliary FX to be processed on any channel at all time using CPU when it shouldn't. The default value should really be bypass and I soon as you move the slider start from -400 grading up.

Things are moving fast, looks promising. keep up the good work.

I ended up installing it ;)

I am glad to find a Solina sample kit.
I must say i am impressed by the quality of the efx : the tube delay is really good, among others. Congratulations.

But it crashed two times when i tried to tweak some efx parameters on the fly (the analogue delay time, and the second time, i think it was the crossover frequency of the triple band compressor).
I hope it will help fixing bugs

Hello,

I noticed a bug with v1.0.2, standalone and PC VST.

I have problems with Plugsound Pro's presets in the category :

Synths & co > Short-Rezo

All the presets have velocity and volume spikes problems :(.

Please fix it, I would like to be able to play them properly.

Nop. UVIWorkstation use a new UI engine as well as brand new audio engine.
