Duplicate banks

If one installs a Receptorized bank/patch set more than once, say by mistake, one can end up with multiples of each bank, etc. They can be deleted one by one from the Receptor patch mgmt system, which is a big pain. Is there a way to delete these duplicates in a more efficient way?

Please submit a support ticket through your plugorama login with the subject "banks & patches fixer", and we will be glad to send you the permissions to access the "banks & patches" folder on your Receptor HD, so you can delete those erroneous duplicate banks.

Thanks very much, Mortimer. Before I do that, does deleting the duplicates in the banks & patches folder also delete them from the Receptor bank and patch management system, including the menus? The reason I ask is that I had tried this once before, and while I was able to delete duplicates, they still showed up via the Receptor interface.

I believe after you delete the patches from thae banks and pathces folder, all you have to do is reset the plugin cache and it should disappear from the Receptor banks and patches window/menu.

To reset plugin cache:

With the Receptor powered on, hold down the multi button and keep it held down while tapping the power button 3 times rapidly. Don't let go of the Multi button until the LCD screen says "...loading..."

Then check to see if the list of banks and pathces refreshed.

Thank you Mortimer. For some reason, it (above plugin cache reset) worked on the second try. When I had first tried it, it did not.
