Ordering Receptor from the UK

On Monday 23rd June I ordered Receptor through Dolphin Music, based in Liverpool. Their website states that the device is a special order order item that can be obtained with 3-4 days.
I phoned them to place the order and was told that they have to have it shipped from the USA, which could take 2-3 weeks. However, I was told it was likely to arrive by the end of the following week (ie tomorrow 4th July). Having phoned them today, there is still no sign of it.
To all UK owners of the Receptor : How long did it take for you to receive your device ? Is a waiting time of 2-3 weeks normal ?
Thanks for help and I look forward to your replies.

You should have done what I did and ordered from the US, I got mine from Nova Musik, they even gave me a good shipping rate and lowered the price for duty.
I guarantee nobody at Dolphin will be able to provide service or any knowledge on this. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking. I got my Rev B 2 years ago for £800 new from Nova, I have since upgraded it to Rev C.

I paid £1,370, plus £7 postage. This was the same price quoted by another UK dealer called Grizzly Media (I've bought the Pro Junior by the way).
I decided to buy from a UK dealer so that if the unit went wrong, I could have it repaired via that dealer, rather than shipping it back to the US. I was also a bit nervous about spending that sort of money and ordering from an overseas dealer, only to have problems about delivery, or the dealer going bust.
If anyone from Muse Research is reading this, how long does it take to get a Receptor to the UK if it is ordered from you by a UK dealer ? Is it sent by air or sea ?
Hope to hear from you.

Dolphin would'nt have a clue how to repair Receptors, it would have to be sent back to the US, or maybe to Grizzly, who I believe does upgrades and the like and is in touch with Muse direct. Grizzly is on here somewhere too!

Thanks for your comments. Yes - I realise that Dolphin wouldn't be able to repair a Receptor, but primarily, the reason for buying from them was to use a dealer that was reputable and whom I had previously used. I wouldn't want to have paid £1,300 + to a US dealer only for them to go bust, which would have made the recovery of my money more difficult than if I had used a UK dealer.
Oh well, it's too late now ! I'd still like to know the normal shipping time for a Receptor to the UK - can anyone help me on this ?
Thanks
Peter
