I don't know, I never used it.Jake Jackson wrote:Are there specific advantages to this program? Will it do things that, say, Short Circuit 2, can't do?

- after installing 1.03 UVi dosen't load correctly (couldn't load samples ...) when recalling a FL 8 project
i got non of this with 1.02

ok... so uvi loops sound funny when triggered from a keyboard.
i am pretty sure the culprit is that these loops are being triggered way too high. only if i set the patch to -2 octaves and hit C0 do i hear the sample as it is originally. this should be an easy fix no? if i could only set it to -5 then it would be at middle c and all would be well.

I am not sure if this was supposed to fixed in AU version of 1.0.3 but it is not:
The browser tries to mount all aliases to external volumes. This is a major headache on systems where the servers are not online. For each alias it takes like two minutes and then comes up with a message 'connection failed'. It would be far better to just ignore aliases to unmounted volumes until they are selected, similarly to what the Finder does.

Ah - 33 pages already, hopefully this hasn't been asked already...
Any benefit to UltraFocus owners besides the new playback engine? It doesn't seem worthwhile to pay to upgrade to the same soundset. Actually, the new price is within $20 of the upgrade price. I guess there's no rush!

I installed 1.03 version, It worked ok on my laptop but the patches were slow to load, it crashed on my desktop machine as soon as I tried to load a patch in stand alone and vst mode, I reinstalled version 1.02 and everything is working again.

Yes, I have that too, for example the Mayham of Loops/Roots Funk/96 A Thompson Bass does that.Bass108 wrote:ok... so uvi loops sound funny when triggered from a keyboard.

No, not fixed here, quick switching still crashes Cubase SX 3.1.- [Fix] Potential crash when switching/previewing REX files very very fast.
And another crash: loaded the "Mini Piano light" from the demo soundbank in the plugsoundPro folder, then opened the expert settings and clicked on "streaming" (on the right side of the preset slot where the Mini Piano is loaded).
This crashed Cubase.
But please keep up the good work though, this will be an awesome plugin, once everything works!
Viktor
