Just wondering if any one is having success with the receptor with lots of continuos CC data in particular breath cc2, cc7 cc11. Thanks

I.m not sure how to answer your poll. However, I find a wind controller most useful with physical modelling synths specifically made with wind synthesis in mind. I regularly use my VL70m or a PLG-150VL board in my S90ES. While the Yamaha stuff is getting a bit long in the tooth, I am not aware of anycomparable VSTs that are Receptor compatible.
A little over a year ago, some of us were asking about the possibility of running Arne Wallander's WIVI Brass VST on Receptor. As a matter of fact, Arne Wallender himself posted asking for help with the issue. http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight= However, the response was decidedly underwhelming, leaving me to believe that breath control will be no more popular on the Receptor than it was in Yamaha's hardware instruments. (Note that the new Motif XS has no breath control input and will not host a VL board.)
However, this really does not answer the question you had about response to continuous CC data. Nonetheless, it was an excellent opportunity for me to whine about Receptor not running my favorite plugs (something you don't often see on this board)

I just caught some players using the EWU4000S playing samples. I would think the Receptor would be the perfect Axe to handle this. I know I play a MIDI accordion which sends an excessive amount of continuous data. I have solved that porblem by using the "MIDI SOLTUIONS EVENT PROCESSOR PLUS" to stirp out most continuous MIDI data and redundant MIDI Data. You can check this out at: http://www.ashbysolutions.com/music/midisol.html.

As far as the EWI400S goes, check out Steve Tavaglione playing the EWI4000S:

Also check out Bob Mintzer playing the Samples from the EWI4000S:
