Hello, Zebra users! Before buying this great synth i'm trying to fully test the demo.
My question is: Can Zebra do GATED chords(A, B, C, D and so on) inside itself, so i don't need to create them in midi editor( and not all the musician have music education to know how to create those chords, so it could be better if Zebra have this feature). I know these days several synths can do this.
There is an audio sample of chord sound:

Thank you very much!

For rhythmic gates, you would want to use Zebra 2's MSEGs - multi-stage envelope generators. You can create generally any rhythm you want with those.
If you want one note played to trigger a chord, that's not really related to gating. In Zebra, this would be achieved by tuning multiple oscillators into a chord. For example, Osc1 = no tuning change, Osc2 = 3 semitones up (minor third), Osc3 = 7 semitones up (perfect fifth). If you played this patch, any one note would create a simple minor chord.

Fwiw, gated chords can also be realized in a nice fashion using the arpeggiator in polyphonic mode and utilizing the arp modulators to control whatever volumes.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Yeah, for the example posted one would use the Arp with 2 steps, both polyphonic, a bit of swing I guess - and play a minor chord. The filter movement can be done with an MSEG in single trigger mode - or with the modwheel. But that's just one out of many possibilities.

Ok, Thank you! Must add that it was just usual saw wave. Cutoff was modulated via XT2 automation track, not by synth LFO. And this sound was also created by ARP in other synth( Gate + Arp + Autochord ) I will try to recreate it in Zebra exactly in the same way you told. But if someone have a little time, please post your audio sample using Zebra2. Big thanx!
