Not sure whether this is a lame question or not, but anyways: How do you create samplesets for this thing? Does one need to purchase a license for whatever editor there might be? And if so, what is that editor capable of?
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Should I be listing soundsets that are bad, or is that a "are what they are" problem when they were released?
Also, I can't see myself going through all of these posts....is there a "known issue" list?

When installing the 1.03 my F-Secure tells it found a Trojan from the uvi's uninstaller file. Is this normal?

In order to create samplesets, you will need to use MOTU MachFive 2.
Please contact info@uvisoundsource.com for more details.

It's not a problem if there is duplicate with other posts.
We're currently working on this.

Can't seem to access my libraries-synth anthology and xtreme FX
I have tried navigating to the the ufs files directly (they are on ext drives) and I have also tried placing alias's of these files into the library..... presets-UVI-UVI workstation.
no love.
What is the correct procedure for using UVI libraries?
thanks!
steve

SynthAntohology and XTreme-FX are multipart UFS files so you need to aliases to both parts (.ufs and .ufs1) in your UVISoundBanks folder.reelsteve wrote:Can't seem to access my libraries-synth anthology and xtreme FX

We'll add that to the FAQ when uvisoundsource.com will be opened.

Beware that the alias should be named exactly the same as the original file(without the alias suffix)reelsteve wrote:Can't seem to access my libraries-synth anthology and xtreme FX

"SynthAnthology.ufs" and "SynthAnthology.ufs1" for example and not
"SynthAnthology.ufs alias" and "SynthAnthology.ufs1 alias"

Yes it was. And now several hours later the darn thing won't find it anymore. Must have been a glitch in F-Secure's databases or something. Sorry for this..otristan wrote:Humm.. I'll let you know if there's any change.
Other than that little hickup i love what i'm seeing. Great interface, and great sampletool
