Yes indeed, if I start the beta and change some parameters, then 'scroll' 4 presets ahead, change those parameters a bit and navigate back to the first one, my changes on that preset remain intact. If that is what you were asking for?

yes and I am glad I did. I can't accept Lennard's lack of support here no matter whether version 2 is coming or not.

Add to that the very silly decision to do a mac vst FIRST, when AU is the dominator in mac world by a huge margin (with rtas).. well let's just say i might check it out in a year or so again, providing lennard has been supporting it actively and not mysteriously.

Hm..so you sold it, but you are still hanging around to complain? I for my part am still very happy with it. I tested it, it was stable in my environment, I bought it, and it is still my default synth to go to. I did not buy it based on any future platform-support expectation. I bought on the what-you-hear-is-what-you-get-principle. Fantastic sound, easy to use, instant gratification. I am not changing my setup every four weeks though.

Thanks for the info, I must say I'm surprised that everyone is against new features, proper PWM and Sync are staples of good analog synths. Ringmod and FM give you the ability to create a significant amount more FX and ambient / melodic sounds. I do know about page A and B but I dislike having to setup a completely individual sound to get a 3rd osc. Various wavetables / waves mean that you can produce a significantly more vast sound set, especially when it comes to pads. Global distortion is significantly different to per voice distortion, try play a chord with global distortion on and you'll see what I mean. Per-voice distortion means you can create distorted polyphonic sounds that don't sound like you are going through an amp sim

But anyway, thanks so much for confirming this for me, I guess I'll have to stick with Thor a while longer

Apparently he doesn't visit the forum all the time, but he does respond to emails. I just sent him an email today and a few hours later he responded:

Yea, I don't know about every one else, but I just found out about Sylenth a few weeks ago and I'm having a really hard time waiting... I NEED this synth! I feel bad for everyone that has been waiting for quite a while longer...

Lennard seems like a great guy. Apparently he just spending his time getting it done rather than using that time to respond to forum posts, although I think he should respond to the forum posts at least once a week. It would only take a minute or two to give an info update.
