Yeah but the funny thing is that I only get bluescreens after I've used your plugin. And they don't come directly after I quit the sequencer. This makes a memleak not entirely outruled.

I'm going to have to go back to plugsound pro until this is sorted out.

I have said this before. But I would like to add that frequent updates increases customer satisfaction. Maybe I will skip a couple of updates, it doesn't matter. I know I can check for new updates when I feel like installing one.
It is the message that the company sends with frequent updates: we are constantly working on this and here is the proof. With others (e.g. Steinberg) we don't know what is happening, maybe they just tell us they are working on, but they actually don't.

We're a relatively small team if you compare to the big boys and we have several projects to work on at the same time. Doing frequent updates as we do with UVIWorkstation means we have to slow down on these and we won't be able to maintain that rate ad vitam.
Sometime you need to concentrate on your work and stop watching forums on a daily basis, hence the radio silence for the last year because we've been rewriting the whole audio and UI engine.
UVIWorkstaton will be our backbone project because this is the platform that will support all the existing and upcoming UVI Soundbanks.
We've chosen to make it free and to concentrate on internet delivery which means updates can be frequent and easy so we hope people will tend to use the latest versions like firefox and al.
So don't blame us if we have to slow down on forum presence in the future, but hopefully we won't have to be silent like we've been these last months.
best

I only just heard of this. Does this play all UVI soundbanks (e.g. Atmosphere) or just what it comes with? I had a quick look at the installation info in the downloadable manual and it said something about needing to install Pace drivers or something so what's that about? Does it need an iLock?

Just some precision
Only new UVI soundbank can be read. Meaning plugsound first versions, Charlie, UltraFocus and Xtreme FX first version cannot be used. Same things applied to spectrasonics UVI based stuff.
Moreover I don't think eric persing would allow us to do so.
Regarding iLok, only PACE driver are required to run UVIWorkstation.
No iLok dongle as long as you run non protected soundbank.(the demo ones for example)
However in order to use protected soundbank, you'll need to plug an iLok key with the the correct authorizations.(like PlugsoundPro for example)
Thanks,

Can't find the posts about the PACE problems others had, but I have this one (UVIWS 1.03) :
Opening a project in Cubase 4 with Sonnox plugins they tell me to register. Well, I already have, but trying anyway, I am told I have no iLok installed. It looks like the Plugsound Pro stuff is not recognized either.
Now removing UVIWS from the project, saving and reloading, everything works fine. Sonnox plugins don't demand another registration.
I didn't catch this the first time, because just adding USVWS to the project works fine. The problems arises when reopening the project.

The Mac VST version of UVI crashes Live every time... AU version loads fine. I've tried it with version 6 and 7. If this has been noted already, o.k. Just thought I'd mention it.

So it's not only an autotune related issue.
We're currently in contact with pace regarding those kind of issues.
Thanks,

I notice it doesn't currently, but are there any plans to include Mach5v2 UFS's as well?otristan wrote: Only new UVI soundbank can be read.
