Hello Olivier, otristan wrote: Just tried and it works fine using Cubase SX 4.1.2 on PC.
Which version are you using ?
If I remember correctly there was a known issue regarding faulty transport position given to plugin.
Please apply the latest Cubase patch.
So far not.ViktorW wrote: And about the crash, yes it still happens, actually I only tried it in standalone mode, but it crashed. The loops weren't playing, all silent. I switch too quickly between the modes Slice and Stretch, and crash.
Doesn't happen when you try it?
You're on mac PPC right ?
Running which osx ?
Thanks,
I'm on a Windows XP machine, using Cubase SX 3.1, haven't updated to C4 yet because I can't afford it.
I've tried a lot of the loops now from my PSP soundbank to check if there are more loops that show that behaviour.
About half of all the shaker loops have that! Weird. No other loops though, no drums or bass loops in the other folder have it, all work perfectly. I've tested about 50 different loops.
Only like half of the shaker loops don't play correctly.
And you really can't reproduce that?
Anyone else???
I've never had this kind of thing.
Listen to this audio example:
http://www.mediafire.com/?imbdzt0j4m2
See my screen at that moment here:
http://www.mediafire.com/imageview.php? ... z2&thumb=4
This audio example is interesting for several reasons.
Firstly, the first drumloop doesn't play its first slice on the first beat, but skips it. But the trigger note is quantized to the beat in Cubase SX 3.1. What I mean is, you can hear that the first bass drum sound isn't there. No matter how far to the back I move the sequence, so it's not like Cubase skips it because it's on bar 1 or so. This is the "096 - Pop Beat 01" loop.
Secondly, the shaker loop that comes in is the "089 - Shaker 1", and it's offbeat.
Thirdly, the next shaker loop that you can hear is "095 - Shaker 1", and this one isn't even synced to the tempo, even though it should be (i checked in the loop tab where the sync options are). It's out of tempo.
Next you can hear the "089 - Shaker 5" loop, which is perfectly in time, so it does work with some. Problem is, it's just not a shaker but a tambourine:-)
And lastly, you can hear "095 - Shaker 2", which also isn't synced apparently, but should be, as the sync option is selected.
All loops have the same sync option, I checked, all are synced to position. But some show really weird behaviour. Every time I try.
Olivier, you mentioned that this is a Cubase problem?

And yeah, the crashing still happens while switching between slice and stretch really fast. As mentioned, using Cubase SX 3.1 on a Windows XP machine. On the bottom right, it says I'm using the 1.05 version.
I hope my example made my problems clearer.
Cheers,
Viktor

Already done when I came this morning.
The auto reply seems to be only if you sent a mail directly to ben@ultimatesoundbank.com.
techsupport@ultimatesoundbank.com has no auto reply.
If this is not the case, let us know.
So nobody answered you because it was the night here
An automated system is currently being tested though.

Hi
there's no way to download the Mac version
Each time it freezes at around 115 Mo and when I try to relaunch it, a pop-up appears with "le fichier source ne peut être lu"
(using Firefox 3.0.1 on OS 10.4.11)

Thanks so much! So, quickly, not to complete hijack this thread again, but I kind of went loopy yesterday. USB really handled the issue as soon as a well as they could. I really appreciate the care. I believe it all started because the company I got plugsound pro from didn't have the new versions with the little license card. So, they sent me one with the older copy protection scheme....I've notified them that it would be a good idea for them to update their stock on hand.otristan wrote:Your auth has been sent this morning at 8AM(GMT+1) by the guy in charge.epytryga wrote:ain't draconian copy protection grand?

I love this workstation as well. Only problem I have is that I cannot still adjust the filter envelope depth in some patches even if the filter is set. And also, if I modify a patch, save and load the song the same problem remains. I've also noticed when I'm working in the piano roller in FL7 the plugin sometimes release the note and doesn't push down the new note as I move the note up and down on the roll.

Could you give a preset name and in which soundbank ?jobromedia wrote:I love this workstation as well. Regarding piano roll, that's very strange.
Would you be able to d a midi file exhibiting this issue ?
Thanks,

A MIDI file will not help you since it has to do with the mouse routine. The patch that I'm experiencing this with is:
Soundpack DEMO > Ultimate CS70M > RAW Sub to Lead-Light

Still have the preset scrolling bug present in .05 release. If I am scrolling through the presets via the next arrow, after about moving through 20 or so, the program will have the spinning beach ball and stop responding. Are you guys (the devs) aware of this error and when do you think a fix will be available.

Concerning UVIWS DISABLING OTHER iLOK PLUGINS. I may have solved it.
Some pages ago this problem was described by me and two others. When inserting UVIWS into a project, on the next reload other iLok plugins would keep asking for authorisation and say no iLok was installed ... In my case Sonnox plugins would do this in Cubase.
Now updating to 1.05, I get a message saying that some pace installation has not completed, should it be cancelled? Yes, I answered.
I continue install and again get the lockup during pace installation (the progress bar stops at the end, and installation locks completely up needing a power off/on or hardware reset to get out).
So this is where it all ended with 1.03 too. But since I already have pace installed UVIWS and libraries will work anyway, except for the problem with reloading a project as described at the start of this message.
Now, I suddenly remembered I had problems with pace installation for Sonnox too (long ago). It locks up too, unless you unplug Internet connection. So installing 1.05 yet another time, I first unplugged the network. This time installation completes. And so far I have not had the problem with my Sonnox plugins, not even after a complete restart of Windows and reload of the project.
Maybe some of the others who had similar problems (was it Autotune?) have had the same pace lock up and should reinstall after disconnecting network?
Under all circumstances I think the developers should recommend disconnecting network when installing UVIWS (or at least the pace part which ought to be separated from the rest of the install!)

Hmmmm.... So your solution is to disconnect the internet during the installation process to avoid it from accessing PACE related resources online? Am I following your recommendation? This shouldn't be a problem unless the installer downloads some vital files online. Intresting find!
