same interface as before

The interface is virtually identical to the previous one - no bad thing. The presets browser makes life much easier and there's plenty of presets to flick through. I can see why it's free given it seems primarily a refinement of version 1 rather than adding a slew of new features. But it's a very welcome refinement to a very fine synth. Thankyou Lennard!

ok thanks...I'll stop whining and just wait to install when I get home :)

The inclusion of the new preset Menu system will make a lot of people happy, although in Cubase it was never an issue really using its own preset handling system.

I've also noticed that the loud clicking sound on initial key press when changing to a preset that uses bitcrusher distortion bug has now been fixed too, excellent!.

    Working great with FX Pansion VST-AU adapter... aside from not being able to drag the plug anywhere... (damn FXPansion...) ;) This should hold me over 'till the real AU version!!! Thank you Lennard, you made my day!!!

WTF? After all the silence all we get is a paragraph with some bullet points and a single upgrade? Where's Sylenth2 v1?!!!! Where's the UNIX version? You post at 7:15 this morning and now nothing?

OK, I guess I'll forgive you as Sylenth1 is pretty much one of my all time favorite instruments. Very well done. No one should be without this fine VSTi.

No, but higher polyphony is probably feasible with the new voice management system. I'll do some tests and will upgrade the polyphony in the next version if it doesn't have too much impact on performance at low polyphony.

Yes, the dragging bug seems to be only in Logic 8 though. In Logic 7 it's been reported to work fine.

Not yet, it's basically the same as previous version. Just try it and see for yourself ;)

By the way, you can change preset names by clicking the small point at the left side of the preset bar.
