Hello,

Sylenth1 was already running on my computer but i just installed version 2.0. Except the new patches no big changes for me. I am glad that everyone including the mac community has access to this great synth now. :D
What is cool is that the banks can contain 512 patches and the patch names are shown in the gui now.

To everyone who does not know until now. I published a bank with 26 synth brass patches for Sylenth1 on KVR this week :

^ I used Sylenth1 on Ableton Live and had no real stability or audio issues...but when I instantiated the synth, there would be a slight audio hickup, which prevented me from dragging in racks or liveclips into a set when I was performing - meaning I would have to have the synth already in a track and ready to go. I'm hoping that removing the Synthedit code has fixed this.

Again, can't wait to try it out when I get home tonight :)

Hi Lennard,
Unfortunately after trying v. 2.0 for a while today , I had to revert to v.1.21, which has worked perfectly for me.
My setup for playing live is a Dell 9100 laptop, Pentium 4 CPU 3.2 Ghz,2GB ram, Win XP sp2, Sonar 7.0.2, RME multiface-ASIO, CP-70 and X-station controller.
My latency setting in the asio panel is 3ms. With this setting I can simultaneously play an instance of Sylenth 1.21, Zebra2, VSL SE strings, and RMX.
I experimented with Sylenth 2.0 (one instance) with latency settings up to 12ms. It stuttered consistantly. Any suggestions? If not, I'm quite happy with 1.21.
Thanks,
Bruce Brody

Lennard Sylenth just crashed Chainer after the first 3 minutes of working with it.

I was switching it off (bypassing it) and back on again. Doing it three or four times in a row seems to do it. Also play notes while your bypassing off and on.

If you do it five times in a row it un-crashes itself by reversing time. The new flux capacitor in v2 is great!

Hi Lennard,

Great update! I tried version 2.0 on my pentium 4 older laptop and I have exacly the same problem as another user. When the gui is up its really lagging and stuttering quite a lot. Perhaps you use some sse that the pentium 4 doesnt support?

Also when can we expect FM? Perhaps later in the future :)

Hmmm I haven't tested it on single core CPU's, so maybe that's got something to do with it. Anyone else here tried it on a single core cpu?

Hi Lennard,

I tested on a single core with same stuttering. My post is listed above (today at 9:29am)

Thanks,
