Hi
I read some time ago here on this forum that Sylenth 1 had some issues when used in FL Studio and that those problems were trying to be solved.
Does the new version work properly in FL Studio now or are those problems still around?
thanks, sylenth1 is a really great soft synth.

I guess I should have read the update post before, so sorry for this post.

Sorry to reopen this thread but are there any known issues still with the demo version working in FL7?
I downloaded it last night and installed the files in the same place as other VSTs. I scanned for new VSTs in FL and Sylenth appeared but I got an error number when I tried to open it in a channel, which I cant remember now as i'm at work but I can post it later on.

There is one bug that I know of that can cause a crash on only very few windows pc's (not FL in particular). This bug has already been fixed in the upcoming update.tehlord wrote:Sorry to reopen this thread but are there any known issues still with the demo version working in FL7?

The error is :-
Access Violation at Address 038A5460. Read of Address 20CBF840
Edit - Incidentally I also tried it in Reaper and it didn't work in there either. I didn't get the same message but Reaper simply closed down - 'Reaper has encountered problems' etc etc

Yes, in that case I'm pretty certain it's the bug that's fixed with next version. Will be available soon!tehlord wrote: Ah ok,

Excellent. I didn't really know much about Sylenth last week but after reading about it on here and listening to the demos on the site I think it'll be the perfect partner for my recent Predator purchase.Lennard wrote:Yes, in that case I'm pretty certain it's the bug that's fixed with next version. I really don't understand why people waste time on FL or fruity loops...tehlord wrote:Ah ok,Lennard wrote:There is one bug that I know of that can cause a crash on only very few windows pc's (not FL in particular). well, maybe the reason is that it is a cheap application... though everybody knows why it is so cheap by now...

Why put FL Studio down each and every time? It's a pretty solid application. So you don't work with it, fine...others (like me) do and like it. Come back with a comment that adds value to the discussion.kvrite wrote:I really don't understand why people waste time on FL or fruity loops...

Back on topic, Sylenth1 works really well in FL Studio now, earlier issues are gone since the last update.

It also wont work in Reaper or Cubase Studio 4.
I've just downloaded the most recent demo (August) again and uninstalled the version I already had (probably August)
Let's hope the next update sorts it out

Strange...could it be something in your setup which is giving these problems? I'm not a dev or computer geek, but if it doesn't work in 3 different programs I'd start looking elsewhere as well, not just with Sylenth1.
