To anyone that is still running PPC, I highly recommend upgrading just for the extra speed and compatibility.

Just to add to that. Loading up any previously made presets that have 'Phaser Freq' as a mod destination load, display and perform fine, this bug only affects creating new sounds on the Sylenth1 v2.0, existing ones made on previous version are unaffected.Arksun wrote:Confirmed here in Cubase, trying to select 'phaser freq' as mod destination just makes it show up as 'MIX AB' instead of phaser frequency.cnicky wrote:I just gave it a good work out and noticed that I can't select the phaser frequency as a mod destination.
Any else got this problem?

Same here. If you absolutely need to make this assignment, you can temporarily assign a midi controller knob or slider to that destination slot using midi-learn
But this needs to be fixed in a minor update, of course.

no thanks... would feel wasteful to me since my current PPC meets my needs. I am also quite happy with all the synths available for PPC.djanthonyw wrote:To anyone that is still running PPC, I highly recommend upgrading just for the extra speed and compatibility.

As long as you're happy with it and bangin' out some nice music.pdxindy wrote:no thanks... would feel wasteful to me since my current PPC meets my needs. I must state that (email) support is very responsive these days. I ran into some licensing issues and Lennard replied to my mails within minutes (with solutions..).
So glad the osx version is finally here..!

Well, you can use custom modules in a synthedit synth, so it's definitely possible to make great, unique sounding SE-synths. I have several SE synths that sound truly great, and with low CPU too. The problem with SE is that alot of "programmers" just take the stock modules and slap a GUI on them, then releases it as an $80 synth. Because of this, many musicians associate the "synthedit sound" with those stock modules. But Sylenth1 was never really "made" with synthedit.. it was just used to wrap the GUI. BTW I noticed the "made with synthedit" logo is still preset at KVR's Sylenth1 database entry.Gee wrote:No disrespect to synthedit intended but i have never heard a SE Synth sound like Sylenth.

I'm guessing that will probably be updated tomorrow morning, it usually takes a few days (not including the weekend) for the updates to show here.JimmiG wrote:BTW I noticed the "made with synthedit" logo is still preset at KVR's Sylenth1 database entry.

Here's a sample I did just for fun with my new favorite synth, listen to that uber-PHATNESS!

I used a similar sound to Secret Cinema's "Saccades", dope track!
You see the beauty with this is that if someone asked me what I used and I told them it was a Virus, they wouldn't question it for a second, however I would probably just send them to LennarDigital... much respect going to Lennard.

Ok so this is the same for Energy XT 2 as well.Gee wrote:Yes i can confirm that mine does too.Fruity keeps on going but as AM says the GUI just freezes until you let go of the control.AngularMomentum wrote:Great update, love the new preset system...
I do not know if this is a bug or a feature, when I move controls the rest of FL's GUI freezes until I let go of the control.

Hi Lennar ,
If I purchase the mac vst 2.0 version now to use with a wrapper , will I be automatically eligible for the AU version when it comes out ? Thanks . Also is anyone out there using FXexpansion on Logic 8 on an intel mac . Cheers all .

A word or phrase I copied from somewhere that helps to define me and also make me look cool .

Yes, it'll be free for all Sylenth1 users.danphobic wrote:Hi Lennar ,

About FXPansion on Logic 8: It works, but the GUI window will not be displayed correctly. In Logic 7 it's been reported to work fine though.

I've also confirmed this, will fix it soon.Arksun wrote:Confirmed here in Cubase, trying to select 'phaser freq' as mod destination just makes it show up as 'MIX AB' instead of phaser frequency.cnicky wrote:I just gave it a good work out and noticed that I can't select the phaser frequency as a mod destination.

Already found the bug, update will follow.HunterKiller wrote:Lennard Sylenth just crashed Chainer after the first 3 minutes of working with it.
I was switching it off (bypassing it) and back on again. Doing it three or four times in a row seems to do it. Also play notes while your bypassing off and on.
