I have saved earlier in Cubase4 some Sylenth1 Presets as VST3Preset.
Now i want to relod the in to Sylenth, to convert them over the integrated Preset manager to fxb-Files.
When i load this into Sylenth1, and want to save it over its internal
and new ( great / loveable and giving me back my freedocm in Cubase4 )
preset manager, the fxb gets a wrong Name.
I think this isnt the matter so much of Sylenth, but Cubase does something.
How can i rename the fxb, so that it gets the right name?
Any Idea out there?
Save fxb-Preset over Sylenth . v2.0 -> FXB gets wrong Name

Correction:
The fxb gets the right name, but when i load this fxb under Cubase4
over Sylenths own Presetmanager into the synth, the wrong Name
is displayed in Sylenths GUI.
I thin thats because of Cubase4.
Can i change this somehow?

Hi, I'm not sure what you mean. If you want to convert cubase VST3 presets you should load them with Cubase's preset loader, then save them with Sylenth1's "Save Preset (.fxp)" option. Please note that .fxp is a single preset, while .fxb is a complete bank of 512 presets.synthcom wrote:Correction:

If you load a VST3 preset it seems to load an entire bank though (instead of a single preset), so keep that in mind.
If you still have any problems, please try to explain with as much details as possible.

Hi @ thx for your reply.
I have solved it know, by renaming the Preset by saving to fxb.
Was a bit work, but not to change because Cubase doesnt
gives me a comfortable way.
Explanation of the Problem for better understanding:
- I saved 2 months before in Cubase a Sylenth as VST3Preset.
- I reloaded this Preset into Sylenth over the Cubase (VST3-)Preset Manager.
- I then saverd this preset via Sylenth as a fxb.
> Cubase doesnt show the correct Preset Name, but
in Sylenth own Preset-Manager everything is correct.
I am happy with Sylenth
