A couple of Receptor issues...

G'day guys,

Firstly, bear in mind that I only use my Receptor live, in a custom case, with an LCD monitor. Unfortunately, this means that I'm a little vague on details, as these things generally happen right before I start my gig.

I've been getting this thing happening where I turn on my Receptor, and it starts up ok, but the splash screen and everything after it looks weird. It's hard to describe what I mean, but it's like the resolution has been halved, or the number of colours, or something

Also, I turned it on the other day, and it froze up before loading the main screen - on the unit itself, there was a recurring word across the whole panel, like:

REDREDREDREDREDREDREDREDREDRED
REDREDREDREDREDREDREDREDREDRED

...or something like that (I don't think it was red).

Any ideas on either of these?

LCD monitor: This is most likely one of 3 things, bad monitor, bad connection or Receptors VGA going bad. I would first try another VGA monitor and cable.

REDRED: The Receptor front panel can display garbage text but it's rare. Unknown what happened here.

I assume that it is currently booting as expected.
