I tried the demo for the Mac and really loved it. Any idea when the AU will be out?

Post

In appr. 2 weeks, according to Lennard (he said one month a little over 2 weeks ago)

Post

PS maybe you could see if there will be another group buy, like last year (i missed it, but it's worth the full price..)

If it's 2 weeks that would be phenomenal. When I emailed him he told me about a month after the VST, so according to that it should be a little over 3 weeks. I can't wait though... actually I can since I can at least use the VST through a wrapper until then, but it won't get any better for me than when I have the real AU. Having a chance at beta testing would be excellent. :)

A Group buy would be fantastic. The dollar to euro rate is terrible these days --
love to be able to buy it....

Thanks for getting back to me . I love sylenth but I think I will wait for the AU because I just can't afford the wrapper as well , I probably wouldn't use it for anything else anyway . Will wait patiently . I am very excited about this synth , part of me wants to go post it on all the production forums I know , but the other part of me wants to keep it a secret so that only I know about it !!!! Oh well reckon I will go post it anyway . Just a nice surprise that there is a soft synth that can rival hardware for it's sound . You could definitly make releasable dance tracks with this . Keep up the good work and make sure you continue developing this , I have said before , there will be a point when the dance music producers realise that this synth can make sounds to rival hardware classics and it would become a firm favourite amongst producers around the world . Bring on the AU !

Anyone who doubts the hardware rawness of this synth should download the demo and play with the ' Dominator ' preset or listen to the 'acid bass ' sample on his website .

Cheers Dan .

Hey since I am relativley new to KVR ( but not synthesis ) could someone tell me how these group buys work . I'm presuming , if you get enough people to sign up , it becomes worthwile for the dev to offer a discount ? What kind of discount roughly and how many people do you need on average , 100 , 1000 people , etc ? Sorry to hijack the thread with something else but since everyone is asking . Cheers !

If there is another group buy it will most likely be after Lennard releases the AU version. I think a group buy would be good, even though a lot of other users, including myself jumped on it when v2.0 came out. :)

It can vary, but generally the more people that take part, the bigger the discount becomes, ranges of people who've signed up - percentage discount will be displayed.

Sometimes there can be additional discounts for the initial buyers of the group buy that start it off. For example, I was the very first custmer of Eiosis AirEQ when it launched with the group buy, I got an amazing discount on it because of it.

Now that it's C++, I might actually take a stab at it. Looked interesting, but the half-SE engine held me off from a monster like this.

So I guess no beta testing of the AU? Guess I'll be sticking it out with FXpansion's wrapper. :(

Hopefully the AU is on schedule, right around the corner. :)
