It works. I actually think disconnecting from network was a recommendation I got from Sonnox support when I had this pace trouble more than a year ago. Don't know why it locks up, maybe it is trying to scan the whole world for something? But there was no activity in Windows Manager when i looked there.jobromedia wrote:Hmmmm.... So your solution is to disconnect the internet during the installation process to avoid it from accessing PACE related resources online? Am I following your recommendation? This shouldn't be a problem unless the installer downloads some vital files online. Intresting find!

I'll ask PACE about this.
Thanks for the report.

we couldn't reproduce this one so far, thanks for reminding us.spidermix wrote:Still have the preset scrolling bug present in .05 release. If I am scrolling through the presets via the next arrow, after about moving through 20 or so, the program will have the spinning beach ball and stop responding. Are you guys (the devs) aware of this error and when do you think a fix will be available.
we first need to reproduce it to be able to solve it though...

Olivier, I know I sound like a broken record, but any news about MOTU Symphonic Instruments support? Starting using PSP sounds in my project finally, is really great and I will like to do the same with Symphonic Instruments...

This is now fixed in 1.0.6.frankbou wrote: Same as always, it complains that it couldn't find the sample and FX preset in a window and once you click OK the instrument are loaded up, but there is obviously no sound coming out. If you match the instruments displayed by manually reloading them then it works.
Let us know if this doesn't fix your issue.
Thanks,

Well, to get a declaration of love from me Olivier will need to do something about the readability of the light blue on blue background. It may look nice, but working with it for hours is another story.frankbou wrote:Olivier, I love you

Quoting from mdsp website comments:frankbou wrote:Olivier, I love you
If its is "As much as one man can possibly love another man without getting in trouble with his girlfriend.", then it's ok

Unfortunately, currently the UI is heavily bitmap based so it's not that easy.tombuur wrote:Well, to get a declaration of love from me Olivier will need to do something about the readability of the light blue on blue background. Still we would like to allow more customization, but getting the same kind of cuteness using vectorized stuff is far from simple.
Some day...

Just do an alias/shortcut to Ethno.dat and Ethno.ufs in the UVISoundbanks folder and you're all set.epytryga wrote:very very cool...how do i load my ethno instrument patches?otristan wrote:Now you can with the 1.0.6.frankbou wrote:

Beware that the Ethno application should still be installed and a valid Ethno authorization should be on a plugged iLok.
