Hi

I'm a new Effectrix user/customer. Great Fx really!
Downloaded the demo yesterday and bought it last night :)
Now, I was a little surprised to see that it's not possible to trigger each effect (not sequence) with a midi keybord. That would be very handy in a live situation.
I know about you Artillery but I think Effectrix should have this feature as well.

So that's my main feature request.

Secondly, I know it's quite hard to make a good pitch shifter but if you could make one that would sound good on drums that should be very welcome.

Thanks for making Effectrix! Gotta go and play some more

Hi, you have that little keyboard above the sequencer. There you can create 12 sequences to be triggered with your midi keyboard or midi track.
Just hit the button "Use Pattern Keys".

best regards

Hi No not exactly.
I want to trigger each single effect in Effectrix with midi notes. The sequencer is my primary use but it would be nice to trigger the effects manually in a live situation. Of course I can set each midi key/sequence to just one effect each and shift between those but it would be simpler the other way. You have 14 effects an only 12 midi notes. You could both have midi keys for the sequences and a midi key for each of the effect.

Another little FR:

A small internal pattern sequencer for sequencing the patterns.
It would make it a little easier so that you don't have to set up a midi track to switch between the patterns.

*When copying a pattern and pasting to a new one the modulation tracks are not pasted.

About the pattern sequencer feature request:

When Effectrix runs in 1/32 it runs very fast and more patterns are needed in order to create variation, at least for me.
It would be great if there was a pattern/midi sequencer build into Effectrix so that you don't have to set up a midi track every time to switch between the patterns.

Have a look at the picture below. It's an effect sequencer made by Reaktor builder Sonictwist at NI Reaktor library. It's small, simple and easy to program.

I understand your demand, but building up a sequencer parallel to a host is not that easy. You would have to adjust the total length, implement zooming scrolling and so on. Note that not all hosts provide a high resolution clock you can rely on.
And using midi (or automation!) to change patterns is the most intuitive way.
Providing more subpatterns is in general a good idea, although the overall handling won't get easier.

The image link you posted does not work.

Best,
Robert

Image works now right?

Thanks for our reply. Of course these are mere requests and I'm already a very happy user. However I do not understand what you say about zooming, scrolling and clock. The pattern/scene sequencer could be even smaller than the one in the picture. No need to scroll or zoom at all. Sorry to bring your competitor db glitch into the thread but Glitch's pattern bank is what I'm talking about and it seems to work perfectly.

Yes more patterns is most welcome, I'm running out!
