Stringz2 attack speed of pad

I'm using a pad preset (84 I think) on Stringz2. Even when I put the attack speed as fast as possible I can't get the sound to line up in time with the beat. The attack seems to be so gradual that the full pad sound lags behind the beat on each chord change. I don't know anything about programming synths ( I normally just use presets) so am I altering the right control, or is there something else I can do?

This isn't a latency issue as all my other normal plugs have little latency within my system and can easily play "on the beat".
