Receptor together with a laptop running forte?

Hi all,
I've been using a laptop with Forte (www.brainspawn.com) for over 2 years and extremely happy with the way Forte handle set/scenes, etc... Lately I've been using more sample libraries and my laptop (4 GB RAM/ 2.2 Duo 2) seems to max out. I was thinking of buying a Receptor and let it handle the heavy-weight sampler plugins that just load once and wait for re-call, no changes to the pathces needed (such as Ivory, Chris Hein Brass, Garritan Solo Violin). But I need the complexity of forte as well as to integrate it with the rests of my VSTi on my laptop for split/layer/transpose and be part of a "Scene" (this is a feature in Forte).

Would this idea be possible? I don't fully understand Receptor since I don't have one, but from reading/watching some videos on UniWire technology, it "seems" possible... I would like to use Receptor' audio and MIDI port as well so all I need are a MIDI controller, a laptop to run Forte and light-weighted plugins, connect with a Receptor via an Ethernet cable for audio/midi, and some heavy sampler plugins.

Thank you very much,
Kenny.

I'd hazard a guess that it will work for you .. not knowing or using forte at all ..

the red flag for me would be Uniwire performance .. for me it hasn't been all that great. It could work perfectly for you, however, but if it doesn't, it looks like brainspawn has another product that lets you use external midi gear within forte so you could use receptor that way.
