Hi,

i have been trying to "install" the Podolski 1.1 VST-plugin from the CD in the Sound&Recording magazine (edition 08/08 ). I'm using Cubase LE4 as sequenzer on my PC. When I copy the folder "WIN" (containing Podolski.dll and another folder "uhe_data") into the directory "VSTPlugins" of my sequenzer (I also renamed the folder "WIN" to "Podolski", but according to the instructions, that's no problem.) and then restart Cubase, it doesn't recognize the plug-in... :(

I'm not very experienced with cubase (new in this business ), so I thought the sequenzer itself might be the problem. But installing the ltmLAB drumcomputer from the same CD with the included installer is absolutely no problem. It works fine and I can use it in Cubase as it's supposed to be.

Isn't there an installer available for the Pdolski? Or do you have other suggestions to make Podolski work on my DAW? :help:

Thanks! :)

Install missing msvcr71.dll (get from http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-f ... ml?msvcr71 ) and delete Cubase's plugin blacklist file. There you go!

Yay, thanks very much!!! (Also for this great plugin itself. :))
I tried this one out and it worked. Honestly, i made it work yesterday already, before I read your reply (which I did today). Because in the manual of the Triple Cheese synth, it is written, that this DLL-file could be missing, so the plug-in wouldn't work. I had guessed, for Podolski it could be the same reason. So..., tried it out, and everything was fine! Maybe it would be better, to have this hint also written down in the manual of Podolski...
But thanks, 'though for your quick answer! Now, I'm happy.

You're welcome!
