"Open Guitar is a VSTi designed for accurate emulation of the beautiful sound of arpeggiated guitar chords in the first position of the fretboard (hence the "open" strings sound).

Open Guitar can just do strums and arpeggios of an acoustic guitar, but it is customizable with the Soundbox with EQ controls. Notes range is from D1 to C4.
Open Guitar sound synthesis is created using single note samples and DSP filters. So it's not a loop player, it's a true instrument which can play any sequence you want. MIDI files are included as example of accurate guitar sequencing. The "hammer on" and "pull off" techniques are possible."

1) Are there going to be different types of strings?
2) Are there just 2 settings on the Varipluk TM control?

[Tried 3 times to download Acidome 2 demo but upon extraction of the zip file it tells me it's corrupted. Anyone else having the same problem ?

Same here. Going by the file size compared to version 1, I'd say its got truncated and only half of it is there.

Thanks for the comments on the Open Guitar mp3,

1) Are there going to be different types of strings?

yes, there will be 3 modules: steel, nylon and strat

2) Are there just 2 settings on the Varipluk TM control?

actually it's just on-off, the Varipluk animates the string harmonics
so that each time you "pluck" the same string the note will sound slightly different, also the attack transient is more noisy with Varipluk turned on.

An ammount control could be added but I prefer to have the best calibration fixed, the other values are not really useful to improve the sound

of course a 2 way switch = on/off

Just to confirm the Acidome download is working and unzips without any errors.
