Is it too early or cheeky to ask on the progress/ETA of AU?

Hey Lennar/All ,

Don't want to start a thread of impatient heads whinging , but I am really excited about Sylenth1 AU version . I know you are probably sick of hearing people asking you about progress on your product but I have persevered with learning
logic 8 and can now make some nice jumpy beats but whenever it comes to sound design I feel like I'm missing an arm without sylenth - an arm I tell you ! I am making ravey mischevious breaks after a lengthy break from production and this feels like the only synth that I can use to make nice new stabs and raspy drones to ruin my dance floors . If there is even a rough ETA update from the last I would be forever greatful . I am just on the verge of buying the fxpansions VST to AU converter for mac but if it was only a couple of weeks away I will wait because I have heard there are some bugs . I have heard the bug is only about being able to move the gui in logic 8 so that would not be the end of the world but at £60 I would regret paying for it if I was only going to use it for a couple of weeks .

From what I understand it is supposed to be a few more weeks, going by what Lennard said in the email I got from him right before the Mac VST release. I'm glad I already had the wrapper from when I first moved back over to OS X & Logic 7.

Well anyway, hopefully it's sooner than later. I can't wait.

Sorry if it's been asked before - but if I buy it now and use the FXPansion wrapper, would I be able to download the AU version later when it gets released?

Please note that it's not a couple of weeks, but probably more like 1 or 2 months after the upcoming bugfixes update.

Yes. The FXPansion converter will work properly in Logic 7, but not in Logic 8 though. The sound works fine but the GUI will not display correctly. Just so you know.

I think FXpansion is pointing the finger @ Apple for breaking its functionality in Logic 8, that's why they haven't released an update. It's great to know that my money went to a good cause on that wrapper...

Thanks for the update Lennar ! I will check back in a couple of months . It really helps my workflow to know that because now I can persevere with the windows version on my PC to make leads and sweeps and transfer the wavs to the mac for mixdown etc .
