Hi,
So , Heres the deal: Im hell-bent on using this one arpsound in one of my songs and the problem is that everytime notes plays on it, it makes this annoying disto-click in the midst of the sound.
sample: http://www.saarre.1g.fi/Saarre/problematicarp.mp3
im not much of a sound-designer so i have no idea where to start looking...
So, i've re-created the problem in to an empty Fruity Project file
here : http://www.saarre.1g.fi/Saarre/problematicarp.flp
if someone can pinpoint the clickynoise while still keeping the sound somewhat same, that would be Awe-some.
Thank you in advance,
Saarre

I don't have time to really check this out right now but it sounds to me that you have to take some of the attack down a bit. Have you tried this?
So take the attack down a hair. I hope no one will give me crap over pointing out the obvious

My guess was right, the Release of Amp Env A is 0. Just increase it a bit to 1.0 for example and it'll sound much smoother. I wouldn't increase the Attack by the way, that would take away the punch of the sound. Better even decrease it as much as possible.Saarre wrote:http://www.saarre.1g.fi/Saarre/Hehku-arp.fst
