OK, I give up! Sorry Cordelia, but no one has made anything remotely clear re the specific questions I asked ( prompted by this thread ), and if you say us 'sane FL users' have nothing to worry about, then I'll take your word for it.

Why should I be concerned?

Here's why. I have been banned from forums before.... but I dont believe I EVER deserved to be.
I can sort of understand in some cases why, and I've always been reinstated after clarififying where I was coming from.
Reasons .... making a joke which was taken way too seriously or personally/ saying stuff which I wholeheartedly believed ( like nothing extreme, like racism/sexism etc ) but which the mods didnt like / being friendly on the forum with someone who got banned / asking ( after being reinstated ) why it was necessary to ban the guy / strong language in response to something that offended myself and many others on that particular forum / a mis-spelling which changed the whole sentence ( seriously!! ) / criticising someones music ( in response to a review request! )....someone who had a lot of (deaf ) friends on that particular forum.

If any of these bans had impacted on any area of my freedom, capacity or rights, I would have been furious! .... and might even have said/posted something rather 'spikey!'

And here's another why ... When I hand over cash to anyone, I do want to believe they have some measure of integrity ( I dont go to macDonalds, I avoid Nestle products as far as I can, I never buy Bernard Mathews or Youngs seafoods etc, and I also refuse to buy from those stores I know of that indirectly fund child labour ).
Therefore, as I say, I am disappointed that (so far) IL have failed to provide a mature, considered, unbiased, and integral response... My fault, I wasn't promised anything better, I just blindly assumed/expected it

So I give up! I'll keep an eye, but I wont hold my breath.

I understand what you're saying. A clear written policy statement from IL would be a good idea. Un-hitching the forum from the "my account" page would be the best idea.

Reflected, I dont know anything about your 'fight', and have no desire to go research. I take your word that you dont want to fight anymore, and yet I still read read very aggreived posts from you. I read posts from others which are not a lot healthier. Would be nice if you had a read over the whole thread ... we know where you're coming from .... stop repeating yourself for F Sk!

I am not on anyones side here, but I am giving you the benefit of the doubt re the issue of having your right to accessibility of your reg codes etc, and have no interest in why you want them at any particular time ... none of my business .. it's all part of the deal when you purchase from IL ... I have for various reasons had to access my account/reg codes over the past few years, and didn't have to explain or justify to anyone.

This is what concerns me, not the little bitchfest which seems determined to continue ... and on that subject ....

Tony tony chopper, you have a lot to say, but none of it at all useful. Is there any danger you could butt out, and maybe when you do, reflected will give it a rest as well, and maybe, just maybe, someone from IL who maybe, just maybe knows what they are doing, might have another go at clarifying whether this account ban is driven by policy, or by an individual with a petted lip!

Tony Tony Chopper is Gol, the FLS dev. Reflected has had numerous warnings, he's a troll! He has used, and been banned under quite a few different forum names. He's stated that even if they ban him he can still access the forums, etc. He's one nasty piece of work who gets off on abusing other forum users, and has flouted most of the conditions outlined in Looptalk's "Proper Forum Conduct" sticky. It's his own fault that he has been banned! Ho hum, shoulda saved you regkey Reflected, ya fud. Reflect on that, Lol!

why do you have to post false information?! can you stop lick to gol please?! this is exactly why I got ban...I needed to handle those morons who have no idea what they were talking about, they enter to threads that has nothing to do with them just because they are bored and want some attention.

just to clarify few things:
I never got banned under different names
I didn't say that I will be able to access the forum after I will get a ban, it is not my fault that whoever managed their site and forum isn't that good at it.

and about this:

perhaps now you can understand why did I act like this, only users like you can drive me crazy...you are the troll here, not me..., what should do I with someone like you who ruins threads with his lack of information ?!

one thing is to ignore you, but sometimes ignoring people like you will cause misleading to other users who also don't have enough knowledge.

They might be willing to mail you your reg's until the ban is lifted.

I've lost my mind in the middle of the discussions at the IL forum, the reason for losing my mind isn't important at all, even if those annoying kids gave me a good reason to lose it.
