Hi all!

I was wondering if someone has some experience with this combination. I've set the receptor up this way
1. one instance of ivory Studio 7ft 5 level II buffer size medium
2. two instances of atmosphere running some string patches
3. one instance of kontakt 3 where I send program changes for some preloaded sounds (mainly east west QLSO gold and RA ethnic)
4. one instance of miroslav with orchestral patches loaded.

Using snapshots with program changes from my master keyboard and simultaniously changing patches in kontakt works all fine (once figuring out how to set it up).

My main question is what the best DFD settings and/or buffer settings are for ivory and kontakt 3 together .. now I have 58% left of 2 gigs of ram, loading extra patches in kontakt gives me the all feared 'DFD out of memory' error screen.

Is this the max I can do? (not that I'm complaining) All fine tuning tweaks and tips are welcome!

Experiment. The more you have in your memory the less you obviously need to stream. Try and squeeze every bit of memory out of it by adjusting the DFD buffer settings.

If you don't need all those vst's running in each snapshot, try taking the ones you are not using offline in the mixer. This is better than muting them.
