If Zebra 2 that good why no youtube demo?

Post

Why not listen to the real thing and DL the demo? That way you don't have to listen to youtube ultrashitty compression and you can actually hear how good it sounds.

Fair enough. For sure. But YOUTUBE does demonstrate a level of popularity.

I've been toying with the idea of doind some instructional videos for it to show how the oscillators work but i have'nt figured out how to connect all my stuff to get audio and narration and such. Maybe one day. But then i'll put it on Vimeo instead. Much much MUCH better quality both sound and picture.

It's more of a "How to capture the audio and video at the same time with CamStudio" plus i'll need the narration done at the same time.

Or at least i think so. Maybe i could put that in afterwards. It'll be easier technically but harder to remember what i did and when i did it.

The actual editing can be done with anything. I think even Windows Movie Maker will do. It's the actual capture that's bugging me.

I thought this was a joke when I saw it... But, obviously the instrument is selling quite well without "You Boob" exposure...

Yes, nothing sells a high-quality musical instrument like the audio on a YouTube video... :nutter: :dog:

Yes, I know about the bad Audio on Youtube but that is only half of the equation. Remember the user interface? Regardless yes I will try the DEMO version but having video tutorials or demo should not be discounted.

And if extra free marketing is not required then fine by me.

People running through presets and screwing around with synths on Youtube has become quite the "in thing," hasn't it? Some of them are "meh," whereas others are actually done decently and give an interesting overview. Keyboardwizard's demos are some of the best I've seen. He does a much better job of demonstrating the Prophet '08 than the clips DSI posted on their own site - in fact, DSI now have a link to his videos on their website. He had me within a hair's breadth of whipping out the plastic for an '08 a month or two ago (I managed to talk myself out of it and snagged another vintage synth library for Kontakt instead, LOL).

Fell free to ridicule my friend. You obviously are more knowledgeable than the millions of youtube users. Go back to making sound with your eyes shut.

Schroeder: "What do you mean, 'Beethoven wasn't so great'?"

Lucy: "He never got his picture on bubble gum cards, did he? Have you ever seen his picture on a bubble gum card? Hmmmmm? How can you say someone is great who's never had his picture on bubble gum cards?"

Schroeder: "Good grief."
