The "Omni mode" in the Roland/Edirol PCR series is different !
It sends all 16 channels out together on the current channel. So it won't do MaxReverb's 2-chanel/one knob program change method. Another disadvantage is that you have to use a regular Midi cable.
Even so, for Receptor, it's probably the best low-cost keyboard controller.

I would get a Midi Solutions Event box, it would allow to filter a single MIDI ch to 16. It's useful for lots of stuff.
