Sylenth1 Group Buy?

I don't understand why you all are so concerned about a group buy. The plugin is cheap enough already and its well worth the money, and why don't you just buy the MAC VST version. It works perfect in Logic and I'm pretty sure that the update to AU is probably going to be for free.

Maybe some other people think different and for them it is not that cheap at all...

The fact that a product, in your view, is cheap doesn't mean that others think the same. What's the problem in asking for a group buy in which it is possible to lower prices and which has been done before by LennarDigital? As a show of your generosity you can still pay the full price once the GB has been completed.

Supply and demand doesn't necessarily apply to software that can be purchased and downloaded online.

I think it would be just fair telling people interested in buying Sylenth if there is a group buy in the near future or not. I want to own Sylenth. But I don't want to see a group buy just a day after I purchased Sylenth. So I am abolutely unsure what to do.

The power is with the customers. We are the ones paying all the developers' salaries at the end of the month.
If a GB is what the customers want then that's what should happen.
We all want to own Sylenth1 but we won't get it until the GB.

Again, Lennard seems like a nice, understanding guy. I'm pretty sure he'll consider it after the AU version is released. It won't make much sense to have a GB before then.

Lennard obviously is a genius. No other VST out there is as CPU optimized as Sylenth1 (not even close). I don't think there's any VST out there that takes advantage of low level SSE instructions for example. It's pure code magic. No other non sample based VA out there has the same sound quality. Yeah, of course I wanted to pay as less as possible when I bought Sylenth1, but I also did understand that brilliant programmers like Lennard can make *serious* money as lead programmers for Fortune-500 companies like Google. In other words, I paid the full price with pleasure, it was worth every single penny and hopefully Lennard makes enough to continue in the audio business after Sylenth1 AU !-

... When the AU version is finally released I'm going to be in heaven! I mean it works alright with the VST-AU adapter and everything (minus the GUI bug), but having it in Logic's native fully supported plugin format is just going to be excellent. I hope it's going to be out soon / on schedule... it's going to be pure bliss!

I've never heard of anyone volunteering to pay the full price for a product when ~90% of the people who are speaking openly about wanting to purchase it (and probably many more who are lurking) are trying to arrange a GB to lower the price.
Again, as I suggested to someone else here, you can still pay the full price once the GB gets on its way (or before/after). I'm sure Lennard will appreciate it.
Sheesh....trying to prevent a GB from happening saying it's a good product and only a full price should be asked for it.

Next you'll be asking to raise the price. Heck, it's a wonderful software. We don't want developers leaving for big companies right? It's CPU efficient right? good quality sounds right? => Raise the damn price!!!
Note: the fact that Sylenth is a good product (efficient, sounds, etc...) is the reason we're here in the first place.
