Hello. I try to connect my master keyboard to my receptor using a MIDI-USB cable (the CME U2midi) but it doesn't work. I can use the midi port because he is also used by another keyboard. Can you help me?
In future I would use the CME WIDI-X8, but I'm afraid that the same problem appears.
How do you do for connecting two keyboards to one receptor?
Thanks.

Ben,
Does such a midi merger give any extra delay? I am also considering such a solution or a midi patchbay, but I worry about any extra delay (I am very happy with the receptor response now and I want to keep it like that!

I connect one USB and one MIDI all the time, no problem, but I don't know that Receptor can see WIDI or not. It needs drivers that may not be installable on a Linux box. I haven't even tried mine, i just use one USB (Axiom 61) and one midi ()M-Audio Prokeys88sx)with no issues. (Still only 16 midi channels, of course.) But the 88 needs AC power, and the Axiom will power from the USB so it saves a wall wart...

I think it's a good solution. I will test that MIDI merger soon. Thanks a lot!JayVee wrote:This is what I use, all the time and problem-free:
