I think they first need to add SATA support .. currently SSD disk are no option. PATA to SATA convertors and SSD are also not a good idea due to speed limitations.
SATA support could be possible on rev c/pro hardware .. but muse has to add/compile the driver in the muse operating system which is the question?
The seagate drives used in the current models are very good with the lowest failure rate in the market .. do make backups of all your preset data and print a list of all the plugins you use.
