The guys on this CD with me are far more talented than I am and it's really worth getting to know their music. (they make me feel like a noob on a nearly daily basis)

It's very humbling, but I'm grateful to be in the collective with them.

No,no,no...dont thanks me.Like many people I like the dynamic of small 'intimiste productions' that you can find on kvr.So sometime I purchase a soundanks such as real media music or a plug from an amator dev etc or some music...This is what I like here , this is a part from the computer music world, you know a whole thing blending the internet,themusic,programming...this is cool

Today one of my students looking around in my iTunes library, while I prepared the vocal lessons !
As I came back she totally freaked out

"Wow geil das ist so geeeeeeil .. iich liebe es .. wer ist das ?"

Translation: (Imagine the freaky look

)
"OMG awesome that's soooo aaawesome ... I love it .. who is this ?"

She found "A La Kart 2" and was playing "Deft Avoidance" ... and she is 13 ... and she is normally into dark-rock an punk music !

This in mind when someone said 3am tunes doesn't fit in the playlist

Thanks, Tonybus. Sometimes, listening to the stuff we find different can have a nice effect on what we consider our own musical "fringe" and help us grow as artists.
And sometimes not.

I agree with her, drumity, Deft Avoidance ist so geeeeeeil!
