Sounds amazing, although I swear I'd mistake the "demo2" for a fingered bass, but I think that's the playing style; kinda soft and jammy.

Can't wait! :hyper: I'll grab this one, and the slap bass later. Still not enough demand for slap bass. Yet (just need the 80s to come in style a little bit more...). :hihi:

Newman!
Surely there must be consensus by now...

All right, I'm uploading CoreBass: Cherry Picked at the moment. It's around one gig large. I have everything ready to release it, which should happen this evening (PDT).

Yes, just a little bit larger than the slap library.

I'm am pretty keen on the picked version. Will it be a one file download. Can I use a download manager like Flashget?

It's a one file download, but it can download in my download manager (I use Download Them All, which is a Firefox extension). If it's an issue of internet connection speed, we can arrange something.

Speaking of which: http://www.orangetreesamples.com/index. ... roductId=3

I just sent out the discount codes, too. As a customer, if any of you have not received it yet, please email me.

Greg, congrats on the new release!!

I just picked up the picked :hihi: and can't wait to get home and start playing! :D

I have to say you've *really* impressed me with this Core Bass Cherry project. You've started a new company and set up a web site, including a web shop. You've produced 3 sample libraries of highest quality, including new innovative scripts for realistic playing, and recorded various demos for them. Meanwhile you've been posting in the forums, reporting progress and answering questions. I don't know exactly how long this has all taken you, but the last 2 libraries went from idea to release in about two weeks! Wow!

Hmm, is there some sort of trick here? Is there a whole team of Gregs!?

Hey I think I've figured out your true identity: You're Super-Productive-Man!!

It was this paparazzi shot from your secret studio that gave you away:

You have too much inside information... I didn't think anyone would have caught on to my sweatshop full of clones! :hihi:

Heheh, thanks so much!

So what's next is updates for all three products, which adds some more cool scripting stuff and more functionality (which will be documented in more extensive manuals). It'll be a small download, since it's just new NKI presets and PDF manuals. It's not as much changes as additions, so if you're using the bass/basses in any projects, it won't disrupt them.

Right after that the loop library will be released.

Ah! You're up. My registered e-mail is down, on the worst possible day (missed a client today too, dammit!). I don't have the promotional code. I wrote you from the email link on the website - was that the right contact email?

I can't seem to find your email... give me a PM here, or email me at gregjazz AT gmail DOT com, and we'll sort out the promo code, etc.

Thanks Greg, but twas all for naught. My normal email is back up again, just in time for me to semi-switch everything over. Anyway, I got my code, you got a repeat customer, and I'm downloading now! Can't wait to try out my alternate-16th note basslines!! :hyper:

Thanks
