made this set of strings today: EBGD strings are from a sitar, processed to be playable with Open Guitar VSTi, strings A and low E are Twelve String samples also processed.
The Demo above is only one Open Guitar with added reverb.

yes I agree AKJ, the story is that I used samples of sitar in the Open Guitar (which is made for guitar sound of course),
but sitar strings have very different tuning so I had to stretch them to match the DGBE, the low A and E are still guitar samples.
Somehow I like this sound anyway, al least it's fun to play

I like it a lot. As a sound with which to play music, it is excellent, whether it satisfies a sense of absolute realism or not. It reminds me of what the Coral electric would sound like if it were a hollowbody. I can't wait to get this instrument.

we should have another beta this week or early next week, do you still need the 6 channell MIDI input?, No pitchbend per note though, but I would add a control, one for all strings, like a whammyMusical Gym wrote:Any new versions of beta being released soon?

not sure i would need 6 channel without pb.
If you can put it in, maybe it will be useful, but
whatever you can do is great.
Don't work too hard.
Thank you!
