Hi all,
I have some quick question. I am recently a Receptor owner and i need help controlling it. I found out i can't run 2 usb connected controllers, but..
can i run a midi cable connected one and a usb connected one?
(i know there is a possibily to buy a midi merger and all, but only wanna know that).
Second. For example in the B4 II from NI i can right click on any fader and button in the plugin and click on midi learn. Mostly i cannot assign buttons from my controllers this way (only a few such a modulation wheel). Is there another possibily?
In for example Kontakt 3 from NI i don't get the 'midi learn' function (with right mouseclick on any vst parameter). What to do??
thanks
Midi learn / controlling plugins from controller...

Hi John,
First, yes you can run both a USB keyboard controller and a MIDI Keyboard controller at the same time. Make sure that the USB keyboard controller is class compliant and works with Receptor.
Second - I'm guessing that you need to set Receptor to pass midi controller information to the plugin on your receptor channel.
Hope this helps, Regards,
Kevin L

Thanks looneytunes. I got more to work now. I am still missing midi control in a plugin like East West Colossus. It hasn't (or i didn't found it yet) midi assignability's in the plugin. Let's say i loaded a rhodes and want to control tremolo/pan LFO effect and turn it on and off by modulation wheel or any other knob on usb controller... How can i do that?looneytunes wrote: Second - I'm guessing that you need to set Receptor to pass midi controller information to the plugin on your receptor channel.
Btw i know i could do this by using the assignable knobs on the fron panel, but this is not in good reach.
