I recently purchased a Receptor and have been dinking around for about two weeks. I've made progress but need help getting the optimal setup. I have read the manuals but not quite understood everything. Thanks in advance for any input. I am new to all this crazy digital recording stuff so my apologies if I sound obtuse.

I have a Receptor Rev C loaded with System version 1.6 and am controlling BFD with a DrumKat DK10. Please let me know if you need any other setup info.

My question is regarding BFD All and the best way to route it in Receptors mixer. When I load it in I have a choice between individual outputs and "all" outputs. What are the pros/cons of each setup?

When I load up individual outputs they are treated as separate instances of BFD. If I edit one channel I have to edit all the other ones. Is there a way to link them together?

My ultimate goal is to use the Uniwire Plugin in conjunction with Ableton Live. I've hit many snags but will address those in separate posts.

Thanks again,
MC

OK. Figured out what I was missing.
Does anyone here use BFD through the Receptor with Ableton Live?

When I run my controller through Receptor the audio is getting though Uniwire but no MIDI data is being recorded. When I run the controller through my computer I get MIDI but no audio.

Now, what am I missing?
