Sounds nice by the way .
Both of the demos use Revalver II SE, which comes with Sonar 7 PE.

Okay, the guitar is progressing really well. Here's another audio clip of it being played live into a keyboard: http://www.orangetreesamples.com/audio/fusionguitar.mp3

This audio clip uses the freeware AradazAmp 2 White for the distortion on the guitar.

The latest thing I've implemented is vibrato, modeled after real vibrato. And the vibrato isn't just a pitch bend either. I've even captured playing nuances such as how vibrato is wider higher on the fretboard due to less string tension.

Uh. Wow. That's really impressive!! More stuff from the OrangeTreeSamples lab...do you just sample and program day and night? You're like a one-man cottage industry over there!

Greg,

This is really incredible! Both of the libraries are awesome.
Keep up the great work.

Quick update about the upcoming loop library.

The hard part of having the loops in MIDI format is that they're troublesome to preview, so I'm thinking of making online access to the loop library, where you can preview MP3s of the loops before downloading them. The main idea is to have MP3 previews online. How does that sound?

I'm not sure what you mean by previewing. I'm keen to just download any and all you make available.

Basically you would be able to listen to the loop in a single click before you import the MIDI file into your project. Not that importing MIDI loops take that long, but if you're looking through a lot of loops, you'll want the fastest way of previewing them possible.

MIDI files are so small though, I would think that making "packs" available with maybe 20 loops or something, and have a single MP3 previewing them all in a row. That way you don't have to post dozens of links for the same amount of files. Is that kind of what you were thinking?

Although really, I think most will just want to download the entire loop library and test them on their own. But that's just me and I may be wrong.

Oh, of course the entire MIDI loop library will be available in a single download. Nothing more inconvenient than having to download individual files, click by click.

But should you want to preview the loops, I was thinking of having an online previewing system so that way people don't have to download all the MP3s for the loops with the MIDI loop library. I would probably also offer the MP3s bundled in an archive as well...

What do you think?

Greg, I have two questions remaining concerning the CoreBass Picked Library.

As to the Midi Loops:
When I buy the e.g. the CoreBass Picked only, will I get the whole Midi-Library for the Basses, regardless of playing style (fingered/picked/slapped)?

As to the Kontakt Programs:
Is there only one instrument, or are there also RAM / Loading Time saving Options (like e.g. a version with only two round robin samples)?

Yup, you'll get the entire MIDI loop library for all the sample libraries despite which one(s) you've bought.

There's only one instrument. Actually, the loading times of the CoreBass Cherry libraries aren't too long. For example, CoreBass Cherry takes six seconds to load on my five year-old computer.

However, it really would be no problem for me to make light NKI patches with only two round robin samples, if you're still interested.

I'll be trying the bass midis in EZPlayer Pro. So as far as previewing goes I'm not that interested in being able to check it out online. I'll just download them and find a way to preview them in my DAW.
