This is extremely awesome, and worthy of much experimentation.

The first thing I tried it on was Tobybear Decimator. Simply oversampling that effect does some cool stuff; making it multiband and leaving the low end alone while harshly affecting the top is also great stuff.

Maybe an effect that hosted other effects would suit a little better than adding to my plugin proliferation... but this is worth it. I can always take the non-split versions off my short list.

Thanks a lot. I also already contacted the developers of SynthEdit and SynthMaker so that it might be possible to wrap thos plugins as well in the near future (at least I hope so).

Christian, Thank you so much for this great invention! being able to add m/s proccesing to any plugin is blowing my mind!

It would be REALLY nice if there was some kind of a bypass or thru for each plugin since not all plugs have a bypass/thru mode. seems like it would cut out half the cpu if for instance i just wanted to process the side signal and not the mid. I don't know if this is possible or even something you'd consider implementing but just thought i would mention it.

another tiny issue is I noticed that when I load a split vst plugin, it does not mantain any of the presets from the vst menu which can be a pain if the plugin doesn't have a seperate preset load funtion. Not the end of the world for me at least and it's outweighed by the usefullness of the splitter.

other than that, you have COMPLETELY changed the way I look at my plugin collection

if you look to the left now, you can find a link below my name that reads 'email' (vaguely at that position where you would usually find the PM link). It's a former way of communication for those people who like to store all messages at only one place. You can use this to send me an email through the KVR convenient interface.

wow, this is really cool!
Stable...not so much...but it's cool when it works!

E-Phonic tape delay split and opened in FL studio resulted in an error message.

Soundhack +decimate worked great for about 2 minutes then FL closed without warning. Damn is that cool in MS.

Fantastic, really looking forward to using a stereo instance of Studiodevil VGA across a dual-tracked guitar take (rather than two separate mono instances, which is a drag).
